The 2024 back-to-school season in Russia priced a minimal school set at about 14,600 rubles in Siberia, 10% more than a year earlier, while marketplaces recorded unit sales up by as much as two and a half times. Fiscal-data operators, the statistics service and the platforms themselves describe a season in which parents paid more for clothing, saved on part of the list and moved the shopping trip online.
