Good discoveries rarely need a complicated system. A little intention, a useful starting point, and enough space to explore can be all it takes.

Keep the thought, not just the link

When you save something, add a sentence about why it caught your attention. That small note gives your future self a reason to return.

Give ideas somewhere to live

A notebook or a plain text file is enough. Choose a few broad subjects and resist the urge to organize every detail before you have anything to collect.

Return and make something

Browse your notes occasionally. Connect two observations, sketch a possibility, or share a useful idea with someone. A collection becomes valuable when you use it.
